Open Door

When God opens the door for me
No one can close it
When God lifts me high
No one can put me down
Don’t force God to do what you want
It’s not pleasing God but satisfying yourself
God’s plans will always be the very best of us

Failure

Failure is important
It reminds me that I am not perfect
It wakes me up to understand that achievement is not as important as the process of achieving
It lightens me to enjoy the present
It forces me to take a rest and prepare better another time
It allows me to hear encouragements from true friends
It opens my eyes to see my overconfidence somehow
It teaches me to be reliant on God
It reflects a true human- sometimes he fails sometimes he wins

Faithfull

God motivated Abraham to leave Ur with lots of promises
Abraham obeyed
Abraham had not yet received the promised son
Abraham waited
Abraham confused
Abraham tried to fulfill his own maneuverings
Abraham continued to worship
God kept his Promise
Isaac was born

(the story of Abraham covers decades, the recorded interventions of God into Abraham’s life average about one in every 15 years, imagine going 15 years without having bible, indwelling spirit, not hearing God, Yet Abraham lived a life of faithfulness)

Joseph dreamt that someday he would stand in such great authority when he is 17
That the last dream from God for years
His jealous brother sold him as slave
His owner’s wife tried to seduce him and finally accused him
He was sent to jail
He helped a guy who promised to repay the favor but then forgot him
Yet, he stayed faithful

(God didn't appear at any time when Joseph needed Him, God worked behind the scenes, silently arranging the time when Joseph would emerge humbled and refined)

Job was clueless about God was doing with his life
God never explained that the devil was actually behind Job’s suffering
God intimately revealed Himself and helped Job resolve the conflict of his soul

We may Think that Christianity is about pleasing GOD but or ambition in life should be to please Him

Three Things

Three things in life that, once gone, never come back:
1. Time
2. Words
3. Opportunity

Three things in life that can destroy a person:
1. Anger
2. Pride
3. Unforgiveness

Three things in life that you should never lose:
1. Hope
2. Peace
3. Honesty

Three things in life that are most valuable:
1. Love
2. Family &Friends
3. Kindness

Three things in life that are never certain:
1. Fortune
2. Success
3. Dreams

Three things that make a person:
1. Commitment
2. Sincerity
3. Hard work

Three things that are truly constant:
Father - Son - Holy Spirit

I ask the Lord to bless you, as I pray for you today; to
guide you and protect you, as you go along your way. God's love is
always with you, God's promises are true. And when you give God all your
cares, you know God will see you through.

FOOTPRINTS

Imagine you and the Lord Jesus are walking down the road together.
For much of the way, the Lord's footprints go along steadily,
consistently, rarely varying the pace.

But your footprints are a disorganized stream of zigzags,
starts, stops, turnarounds, circles, departures, and returns.

For much of the way, it seems to go like this,
but gradually your footprints come more in line
with the Lord's, soon paralleling, His consistently.

You and Jesus are walking as true friends!
This seems perfect, but then an interesting thing happens:
Your footprints that once etched the sand
next to Jesus' are now walking precisely in His steps.
Inside His larger footprints are your smaller ones,
you and Jesus are becoming one.

This goes on for many miles, but gradually you notice another change.
The footprints inside the large footprints seem to grow larger.

Eventually they disappear altogether.
There is only one set of footprints.
They have become one.

This goes on for a long time, but suddenly
the second set of footprints is back.
This time it seems even worse! Zigzags all over the place.
Stops. Starts. Gashes in the sand. A variable mess of prints.

You are amazed and shocked.
Your dream ends. Now you pray:
"Lord, I understand the first scene, with zigzags and fits.
I was a new Christian; I was just learning.
But You walked on through the storm
and helped me learn to walk with You."

"That is correct."
"And when the smaller footprints were inside of Yours, I was actually learning to walk in Your steps, following You very closely."

"Very good.. You have understood everything so far."
When the smaller footprints grew and filled in Yours,
I suppose that I was becoming like You in every way."

"Precisely."
"So, Lord, was there a regression or something?
The footprints separated,
and this time it was worse than at first."

There is a pause as the Lord answers, with a smile in His voice.
"You didn't know? It was then that we danced!"

To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven:
A time to weep, a time to laugh, a time to mourn, and a time to dance.
Ecclesiastes 3:1,4.

An Elephant

An elephant can lift in excess of a ton of weight with just its trunk. Still an elephant is conditioned to stay in one place with a weak rope and a stake. Only a small rope tied to its front leg holds an elephant. No chains, no cages. It is obvious that the elephant can, at anytime, break away from its bonds but for some reason, it does not. The reason is that, when the elephant is a baby and much smaller, it is tied to a strong chain and strong tree. The baby is weak but the chain and tree are strong. The baby is not used to being tied, so it keeps tugging and pulling the chain, in vain. A day comes when it realizes that all the tugging and pulling will not help and it gives up, thinking that it cannot break away from the bond. It stops and stands still.

And when the baby elephant becomes the mighty giant elephant, he is tied with a weak rope and a small stake. The elephant could with one tug, walk away free, but it goes nowhere because it has been conditioned to believe that it cannot break away. It believes that the rope can still hold it, so it never tries to break free.

REFLECTION: Like the elephants, we also go through life hanging onto a belief that we cannot do something, simply because we failed at it once before.

We are also being held back by old beliefs and avoid trying something new because of a limiting belief about ourselves. At times, we are also held back by someone else's limiting beliefs about ourselves.

Whatever we can conceive and believe, we can achieve.
TRY IT ONCE MORE !!!

READ ONLY IF YOU HAVE TIME FOR GOD

God, when I received this e-mail, I thought...
I don't have time for this... And, this is really inappropriate during work.
Then, I realized that this kind of thinking is... Exactly, what has caused lot of the problems in our world today.

We try to keep God in church on Sunday morning...
Maybe, Sunday night...
And, the unlikely event of a midweek service.
We do like to have Him around during sickness...
And, of course, at funerals.

However, we don't have time, or room, for Him during work or play...
Because.... That's the part of our lives we think... We can, and should, handle on our own.
May God forgive me for ever thinking...
That... there is a time or place where.....

HE is not to be FIRST in my life.
We should always have time to remember all HE has done for us.

If, You aren't ashamed to do this...
Please follow the directions.
Jesus said, "If you are ashamed of me, I will be ashamed of you before my Father."

Not ashamed?

Pass this on ONLY IF YOU MEAN IT!!

Yes, I do Love God.
HE is my source of existence and Savior.
He keeps me functioning each and every day. Without Him, I will be nothing. Without Him, I am nothing. But, with Christ, HE strengthens me. (Phil 4:13)

THE POEM

I knelt to pray but not for long, I had too much to do.
I had to hurry and get to work For bills would soon be due.
So I knelt and said a hurried prayer,
And jumped up off my knees

My Christian duty was now done
My soul could rest at ease.
All day long I had no time
To spread a word of cheer. No time to speak of Christ to friends,

They'd laugh at me I'd fear.
No time, no time, too much to do,
That was my constant cry,
No time to give to souls in need

But at last the time, the time to die.

I went before the Lord,! ! I came, I stood with downcast eyes.
For in his hands God held a book;
It was the book of life.

God looked into his book and said
"Your name I cannot find.
I once was going to write it down...
But never found the time"

Easy vs Hard

Why is it so hard to tell the truth but Yet so easy to tell a lie?
Why are we so sleepy in church but Right when the sermon is over we suddenly wake up?
Why is it so hard to talk about God but yet so easy to talk about nasty stuff?
Why is it so boring to look at a Christian magazine, but yet so easy to look at a nasty one?

Why is it so easy to delete a Godly e-mail, but yet we forward all of the nasty ones?
Why are the churches getting smaller but yet the bars and dance clubs are getting larger?
Do you give up? Think about it

There are no costs, but wonderful rewards...
GOD BLESS!

Friend in You

I have smiles to give away
Hugs and kisses too
I save them up every day
So I can send them to you

I know I can always count on you
Even when I am down
You laugh with me and make me smile
With you, I never frown

You are so very dear to me
Whether near or miles apart
I hope you can clearly see
You're so close to my heart

I want to thank you for all your caring
You are a dear friend of mine
We have so many good times sharing
With you I will always shine!

This friendship we have made together
Will last through thick and thin
No matter how stormy the weather
I know I always have a friend in...

YOU!

Thank you for being my dear friend

I've learned . . .

I've learned.... That the best classroom in the world is at the feet of an elderly person.

I've learned.... That when you're in love, it shows.

I've learned.... That just one person saying to me, 'You've made my day!' makes my day.

I've learned.... That having a child fall asleep in your arms is one of the most peaceful feelings in the world.

I've learned.... That being kind is more important than being right.

I've learned.... That you should never say no to a gift from a child.

I've learned.... That I can always pray for someone when I don't have the strength to help him in some other way.

I've learned.... That no matter how serious your life requires you to be, everyon e needs a friend to act goofy with.

I've learned.... That sometimes all a person needs is a hand to hold and a heart to understand.

I've learned.... That simple walks with my father around the block on summer nights when I was a child did wonders for me as an adult.

I've learned.... That life is like a roll of toilet paper. The closer it gets to the end, the faster it goes.

I've learned.... That we should be glad God doesn't give us everything we ask for.

I've learned.... That money doesn't buy class.

I've learned.... That it's those small daily happenings that make life so spectacular.

I've learned... That under everyone's hard shell is someone who wants to be appreciated and loved.

I've learned.... That to ignore the facts does not change the facts.

I 've learned.... That when you plan to get even with someone, you are only letting that person continue to hurt you.

I've learned.... That love, not time, heals all wounds.

I've learned.... That the easiest way for me to grow as a person is to surround myself with people smarter than I am.

I've learned.... That everyone you meet deserves to be greeted with a smile.

I've learned.... That no one is perfect until you fall in love with them.

I've learned... That life is tough, but I'm tougher.

I've learned.... That opportunities are never lost; someone will take the ones you miss.

I've learned.... That when you harbor bitterness, happiness will dock elsewhere.

I've learned.... That I wish I could have told my Mom that I love her one more time before she passed away.

I've learned.... That one should keep his words both soft and tender, because tomorrow he may have to eat them.

I've learned.... That a smile is an inexpensive way to improve your looks.

I've learned.... That when your newly born grandchild holds your little finger in his littlefist, that you're hooked for life.

I've learned.... That everyone wants to live on top of the mountain, but all the happiness and growth occurs while you're climbing it.

I've learned.... That the less time I have to work with, the more things I get done.

Sun Shine

You always wake up me with your gentle touch on my skin
Your lovely voice make my spirit rise while im still in bed
You make air in my room flowing
Your touch can make clean my bed

I never notice your kindness to me
You never complain

But what can i do now
You have gone

I miss your gentle touch
Touching my hair
I miss your lovely voice
Singing like a bird

The air feel plain
The freshness has gone
Only left a memories
That i can remember at bed

Oh my sun shine
Where are you now
Every God’s creation need you
Please shine again......

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE AND KNOW . . .

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE ....enough money within her control to move out and rent a place of her own even if she never wants to or needs to...

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE ....something perfect to wear if the employer or date of her dreams wants to see her in an hour...

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE ...a youth she's content to leave behind....

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE ....a past juicy enough that she's looking forward to retelling it in her old age....

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE .....a set of screwdrivers, a cordless drill, and a blacklace bra...

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE ....one friend who always makes her laugh... and one who lets her cry...

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE ....a good piece of furniture not previously owned by anyone else in her family...

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE ....eight matching plates, wine glasses with stems, and a recipe for a meal that will make her guests feel honored...

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE ....a feeling of control over her destiny...

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...how to fall in love without losing herself..

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...HOW TO QUIT A JOB, BREAK UP WITH A LOVER, AND CONFRONT A FRIEND WITHOUT RUINING THE FRIENDSHIP...

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...when to try harder... and WHEN TO WALK AWAY...

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...that she can't change the length of her calves, the width of her hips, or the nature of her parents..

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...that her childhood may not have been perfect...but its over...

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...what she would and wouldn't do for love or more...

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...how to live alone... even if she doesn't like it...

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW... whom she can trust, whom she can't, and why she shouldn't take it personally...

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...where to go...be it to her best friend's kitchen table... or a charming inn in the woods...when her soul needs soothing...

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...what she can and can't accomplish in a day...a month...and a year...

Nothing Shall By Any Means Hurt You!

Luke 10:19
Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Years ago, while travelling on a domestic flight in the United States, I sat next to a woman whose whole body was tense with fear. Concerned, I asked if I could help her in any way. In between sobs, she told me about her fear of flying. I told her, “Don’t worry. I am on board. Nothing will happen to the plane.” I did not say it with pride. I said it knowing that the Lord was on board the plane with me and that I would have a safe journey because He has promised that “nothing shall by any means hurt you”.

Once, when Jesus was in the boat with his disciples, He told them, “Let us cross over to the other side.” (Mark 4:35) Believing that they would cross over to the other side, He then fell asleep in the stern. Not even a great storm could arouse Him from His sleep, only the cries of His terrified disciples. They had forgotten what Jesus had said about them crossing over to the other side. They had also forgotten that with Jesus in the boat with them, there was no possibility of their going down. Nothing could by any means hurt them because Jesus was with them.

Even being thrown into a fiery furnace could not hurt three young Hebrew men because they believed that God would deliver them. They had proclaimed to the heathen King Nebuchadnezzar, “... our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O king.” (Daniel 3:17) And in the midst of their fiery trial, their deliverer not only walked with them in the fire, He also delivered them from all harm. King Nebuchadnezzar even said, “Look! I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.” (Daniel 3:25).

Beloved, in the midst of your storm or fiery trial, because Jesus is with you, nothing shall by any means hurt you!
